Funerals

The time of death is often a very difficult time.  There is so much to think about and consider and for many it will be the first time they have had to arrange a funeral.

Quite often those who have lived in our villages want to have their funeral in the local church; all who have lived here have a right to be buried in their local church yard.
These days some prefer to have a service in a local crematorium and not in the parish church. Local clergy, however, are able to take these services and we work closely with the families to ensure that their needs are met and that the service reflects the person who has died in both words and music.

Following the death of a loved one, a family’s first port of call is often their chosen undertaker who will then liaise with the local clergy.
